                      A bit better than the standard TEACHERS, BALLANTINES, and CUTTY SARK, but still, it ain't a single malt. If you're lucky, the "local" pub might have GLENFIDDICH.

                                Think we should have a thread entitled "Which whiskey...?" You can't beat a glass or two of Laphraoig to warm the cockles of the heart. Irish malts are hard to beat although of a different nature to Scottish malts (sweeter in taste but still very palatable nonetheless) - Powers is an easy drink and Bushmills black label (or Shirley Bassey to the initiated) is pure class
