    Dear Members,

We, the staff of the World Affairs Board, have offered to the Colonel, Officer of Engineers, a long-time contributor and upstanding member of our community, the position of global moderator on the forum, which he has graciously accepted.

His area of responsibility includes all sections on WAB. Please give him a warm welcome!

Welcome aboard Colonel, it's an honor to have you with us. :)
“He was the most prodigious personification of all human inferiorities. He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

Nice buttering me up, people. But I know you're all are going to try to cook my turkey.

My thanks but I've done this too many times not to keep my eye on my wallet. That means I'm not buying the 1st round.
