If by some happenstance somebody has both qualifications but the system hasn't automatically given them Senior Member status, we can make the change manually.“He was the most prodigious personification of all human inferiorities. He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

K well I've been on the board for two years and I have 1000 posts, and as far as I know I'm not a senior member. This doesn't really bother me I suspect no one would take me any more seriously than they do now, I mainly use this forum to learn rather than to teach anyway.

I should also note that being promoted to senior member is a way to give recognition to members for continued participation on the forum. Privileges of being a senior member include increased private message storage (up to 500), the ability to set a custom user title, and having a bold username."Every man has his weakness. Mine was always just cigarettes."

Anyhow, such a system will stay in place pretty much unaltered as it is a recognition of the contributions members have made to the community, and have been around long enough and interacted with members enough to warrant such a distinction."Every man has his weakness. Mine was always just cigarettes."

Senior moment?
Senior Member? I can't even get a "future senior discount" or my SADF discount at the movies (I ask). I must say it would be pretty convenient to not have to empty my PM all the time.Reddite igitur quae sunt Caesaris Caesari et quae sunt Dei Deo

Its indeed good and heartwarming to get the deserved promotion on the board,my d*"khead boss needs to learn a lot from you people. What's the difference between people who pray in church and those who pray in casinos?
The ones in the casinos are serious.

But hey, before you do that, you may want to edit your above post. ;)
