Careful Colonel, the 'Dion' is still out there, watching. Even now she could be reading your post and deciding to track you down. (She is a fellow citizen after all.) One night there could be a knock on your door and before you know it you will be attending your own personal, two hour long 'greatest hits' concert. (Oh to be a deaf fly on the wall at that event.)

Just remember suicide is a sin.

If you are emotionally invested in 'believing' something is true you have lost the ability to tell if it is true.

                • This year’s graduates have it pretty good.

Unemployment is averaging 4.1%, compared to 5.8% over the previous 70 years. For the mathematically challenges, that a 40% improvement.

The economy is growing at a 2.3% pace, which isn’t as good at the 3.2% pace over 70 years but it beats the 1.5% rate over the past decade.

Inflation is 2.3%, compared to a 3.5% average since 1948. That’s one-third lower, which is a Very Big Deal.

A 30-year fixed mortgage is about 4.5%, compared to an average 8.4% over the last 45 years. That means payments over the lifetime of the loan are one heck of a lot cheaper.

Then, there’s the other stuff. The stuff that hits the headlines every day and makes people anxious about the future.

                  For example,

In 1980, there were 4.5 billion people in the world, and about 2 billion of them lived in poverty. That’s over 40%. Today, we’re approaching 7.5 billion, but only 860 million still live in poverty. That’s about 11%.

Not only are standards of living rising, but they are rising for ever more people and at an ever-faster pace. In the 1950s, worldwide infant mortality was over 13%. Today it is barely 3%. In the 1980s, 83 million people came out of poverty. In the 1990s, it was 117 million. And in the 2000s, nearly 500 million left poverty behind.

                  So, congratulations Grads.
It isn’t as bad as it looks.

Yeah. If you click on the link, you'd see the hens are lying at the bottom, of the side of the seat. I am trying to figure out if the conductor is really honest or he wanted 2 mins of glory. Having said that, even if some Indians are honest, why is the political leadership so effing corrupt?
