I am listening to myself singing a song I made up myself and sung to the tune of "Sugar in the Morning, sugar in the evening, sugar at suppertime"

With all the confusion around the WAB with "I come in Peace"'s little homilies, I was surprised I was humming the song and instead was singing:

Jihad in the morning, Jihad in the evening, Jihad at suppertime.
    Be my little Jiahd
And kill me all the time.

"Some have learnt many Tricks of sly Evasion, Instead of Truth they use Equivocation, And eke it out with mental Reservation, Which is to good Men an Abomination."

I don't have to attend every argument I'm invited to.

    Fly to live...live to fly...

    Do or die.

    Aces High...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2CQ3...elated&search=

There goes the siren that warns of the air raid...
Then comes the sound of the guns sending flak!
Out for the scramble weve got to get airborne...
Got to get up for the coming attack!

Jump in the cockpit and start up the engines...
Remove all the wheelblocks theres no time to waste!
Gathering speed as we head down the runway...
Gotta get airborne before its too late!

    Running, scrambling, flying
Rolling, turning, diving, going in again
Run, live to fly, fly to live, do or die
Run, live to fly, fly to live. aces high.

Move in to fire at the mainstream of bombers...
Let off a sharp burst and then turn away!
Roll over, spin round and come in behind them...
Move to their blindsides and firing again!

Bandits at 8 oclock move in behind us...
Ten me-109s out of the sun!
Ascending and turning our spitfires to face them...
Heading straight for them I press down my guns!

    Rolling, turning, diving
Rolling, turning, diving, going in again
Run, live to fly, fly to live, do or die
Run, live to fly, fly to live, aces high.

Last charge of the light brigade!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdd7WYe-7Tg

    THE TROOPER!!!

You'll take my life but I'll take yours too
You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through
So when you're waiting for the next attack
You'd better stand there's no turning back.
The bugle sounds and the charge begins
But on this battlefield no one wins
The smell of acrid smoke and horses breath
As I plunge on into certain death.
The horse he sweats with fear we break to run
The mighty roar of the Russian guns
And as we race towards the human wall
The screams of pain as my comrades fall
We hurdle bodies that lay on the ground
And the Russians fire another round
We get so near yet so far away
We won't live to fight another day.
We get so close near enough to fight
When a Russian gets me in his sights
He pulls the trigger and I feel the blow
A burst of rounds take my horse below.
And as I lay there gazing at the sky
My body's numb and my throat is dry
And as I lay forgotten and alone
Without a tear I draw my parting groan

    Run to the hills!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EDIPpbJWpE

White man came across the sea
He brought us pain and misery
He killed our tribes, he killed our creed
He took our game for his own need

We fought him hard we fought him well
Out on the plains we gave him hell
But many came too much for Cree
Oh will we ever be set free?

Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes
    Galloping hard on the plains
Chasing the redskins back to their holes
Fighting them at their own game
Murder for freedom a stab in the back
Women and children and cowards attack

Run to the hills run for your lives
Run to the hills run for your lives

Soldier blue on the barren wastes
    Hunting and killing's a game
Raping the women and wasting the men
The only good Injuns are tame
Selling them whisky and taking their gold
Enslaving the young and destroying the old

Run to the hills run for your lives
    (repeat to end)

They were true metal gods for a good part of the 80s.

And absolutely first rate lyrical story tellers.

    Chorus:
I want to BOP with you baby, all night long
I wanna bebop with ya baby 'til the break of dawn
I wanna make it a night like it used to be
When our hearts were young and free
