  • 76th International Motor Show in Geneva

At the 76th International Motor Show in Geneva, carmakers are showing off vehicles that you'd expect James Bond to drive--machines packed with power, grace and comfort.

CNET Car Tech's Wayne Cunningham reported all the highlights directly from Euorpe's glamour car show. Plus, here are other new concepts on display at the show.

Shown here is the Bugatti Veyron, whose 16 cylinders from two W-8 engines and four turbochargers can generate 1,001 horsepower. The Veyron's top speed has been clocked at 252 mph, and it races from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds.

Pagani debuted the Roadster F, which features a 7.2-liter Mercedes-Benz AMG V-12 engine that delivers 650 horsepower. It will reach 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has hit 214 mph in tests.

Car designer Acabion claims its light design will allow its car to reach an "electronically limited" 280 mph while using just 50 percent of engine power. See more of the Acabion.

Dutch exotic carmaker Spyker offers a "Super SUV" that puts you just 2 inches off the ground. The D12 Peking-to-Paris has a Volkswagen 6.0-liter, 500-horsepower W-12 and, of course, four-wheel drive. This car will hit "only" 183 mph.

Along with the doors, the canopy of the Saab Aero-X lifts upward for easy access. It runs on a 400-horsepower bioethanol-fueled twin turbo V-6 engine.
