  • Straight or Split Ticket?

What do you plan do be voting this Tuesday, a straight or split ticket? If you decide to split your ticket, how do you plan to split it and why? Will you be voting for a Republican president and one or more Democrats on the tickets, or vice versa?

Do you feel that there are candidates in one of the parties running for state or national office who more closely represent your views and beliefs than McCain or Obama?

Don't vote it only encourages them

I am not going to vote anymore.

People will be disappointed whichever candidate they vote for.

McCain will spend like a socialist...
Obama won't get us out of the wars...

Our system is broken, I am withdrawing my consent.

Since you are failing in your duty and obligation to vote, I will not listen to anything you have to say about our government.

Maybe you need to move to somewhere where you think your consent is required.

I should hope that all voters examine each candidates positions and records before they vote for someone. While I tend to vote for Republicans, there are some for whom I can not vote to retain or put into office. But that is the way of both parties, just ask Joe LIBERMAN.

A little concept called "consent of the governed"?

Straight Republican ticket- I believe in the check and balance system. Two many of one party of Representatives or senators is not a good thing. And I believe McCain is the right man for the job!

While I would like to split my ticket and vote for some Libertarians, I have to vote straight republican so as to increase the chances for as many Democratic loses as I can.

I normally try and vote for the man or woman I feel is the best candidate regardless of party affiliation. If I lack information about either candidate, as in some judicial elections, I would withhold my vote. Although in this election I voted against the incumbent (a Democrat) simply because I am fed up with the Congress as a whole.

I voted last week, as did my wife, mother -in-law and two sons. We all voted Republican for everything except two local offices, where we voted for the Democrat.

There is only one other way to change it if you do not vote.

If you do not pay your taxes your property will be confiscated and you will go to prison. So, while you may have withdrawn your consent, you have not your monetary support? Moving is the only way to do that.

I will be voting a split ticket this election (and usually do), but the party that best suits my beliefs is The Constitution Party. Unfortunately, though, they are not organized enough yet.

I'm voting for the McCain/Palin ticket because I value the lives of babies, and Obama wants them dead, even up to the point of full term...just flat out population control murderer. That's what he is to me.

How one votes in this election is not as critical as voting itself. We should cease being a country where 5 percent(or less) of our populace decides who returns to DC. PLEASE, EVERYONE VOTE THIS TIME!
