I much enjoyed that.
The exploding cars, silenced sniper rifles, bullets that throw people backwards and safety glass are the most annoying cliches because they just show up so often!

I thought this is very funny.

You forgot people outrunning explosions. How often do you see that? The bomb explodes and the guy is still in the building. The fireball (!) from the explosion expands rapidly, about to catch up to our hero still trapped in the building. But at last second, the hero dives out the door/window/vent just as the explosion catches up to him. Safety at last, outside the exploding facility.

What about cars making long jumps and still keep on going?
Examples: The General Lee Dodge Charger from Dukes of Hazard.
Kit the Pontiac from Knight Rider.
The Van from The A Team.
If you watch closely, you can see the vehicle being severely damaged (bent out of shape) upon landing. But in the next scene it is in perfect showroom condition.
They don't tell you that once you jump a car, it's the scrap yard for it then. Replacement or duplicate cars are then brought in.
Able to leap tall tales in a single groan.
How about chicks that aren't completely, 100%, batsh!t insane?
That's the one that bugs me.

How's a about people lost at sea in a rowing boat..along comes the chopper or 'plane and they all start shouting. I can imagine the Pilot saying to the Co-pilot "Ssssh hang on a sec, can you hear someone shouting"?Errr NO!! Big Ears
I admit it. I saw The Core. In the theater. I ...enjoyed it. Mostly because it was ridiculous but the actors used terms like "Pascals" and "Modulus". Probably for the first time ever on the big screen.
But man, it's a silly, silly movie.

I stumbled on this years ago and thought it was the answer to my accuracy neuroses. It's a pity they don't update it.
For a second I thought your title said "insultingly stupid movies" and Rush Hour 3 popped into my head.
I contribute to a Wiki that covers this among many other things:
Home Page - Television Tropes & Idioms
die hard 4...
a F-35 beaten by a Truck...
more like a comedy.
Mr. Bruce shoot down a chopper with a Police Car!!!...
a conversation about it:,
-hey man you shot down a chopper with a car!!!
-....i was run out of ammo...
hehehhahahaha

Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none; be able for thine enemy rather in power than use; and keep thy friend under thine own life's key; be checked for silence, but never taxed for speech.
