I've got wicked shiny boots, man. I wish there were somebody here that knows me, because my boots and uniform are something to see.
Lt. Bluesman is not allowed out of the house unless she's inspection-ready, either. I am absolutely NOT going to have anybody in my unit (or family) lookin' like a duffel bag. (And I don't car who outranks whom, either ) |

"Pride yes but should troopers spend there time shining boots or getting more training and prep for action the question is Do you want good marching solders or good fighting solders?"
A well shined pair of boots is a sign of a disciplined trooper. If a soldier can put a good spit shine on his boots after a 15 hour day it's a sign that you're looking at a well-disciplined troop. There is a reason for inspection and ceremony. It builds discipline, just like shining your boots when you're bone tired. |

Or are you just trying to confuse the ex grunt? Hehehehehe. |

We''re not in the same unit. I work for NSA, assigned to SOCOM; she works for the Med Group of the 60th Air Mobility Wing. I've known lots of military couples, though. Some in the same unit, and no effect on anything. (As long as the First Shirt makes 'em do all the 'contingency planning' stuff.) |

I know couples(not married) that were messing around in the same units that caused lots of problems whether it was cheating, or when they broke up, or when they were just having a spiff.
We all see different things though i suppose. 19 years huh? Guess that must make you an E-7 or better. Or should i be calling you "Top"? ![]() |
