Same problem with me too. The Skins and Orkut Tools are not working on the New One. The Only Advantage i see is that we can Correct our Spelling mistakes

try opera instead, coz IE is POS (i know it is not, but It used to cause so much ache when I used it) I think opera 9 is now the fastest browser

Also if you think firefox is slow you can find the firefox safe mode and run that. that loads way faster

to start firefox in safe mode, go to START RUN and then eneter firefox.exe -safe-mode and enter. before you do this all firefox instances should be closed

I Believe it fixes the vexing memory leak issue. but uses more CPU. but using just firefox is no fun, using extensions like adblock, orkut scrapper, greasemonkey, fasterfox really makes browsing mucvh more fn and fruitful

IF your browser crashes, Firefox-2 automatically takes you back to the same page(s) when you re-open the browser.

That's a nice feature. Plus the spell-check built right into posts is nice too.

to make your browser even more faster type

step 1: type about:config in address bar
Step 2: in filter put the word pipelining and you get three items
change network.http.pipelining to true
change network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 25
change network.http.proxy.pipelining to true

When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading

step 3:

right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "10" or "5".

this means when you hit back or open a new page, the browser wont wait 100 ms (which is default) before it starts to 'paint' the page, setting it 0 is not recommended because then when you select back you may get a blank page and then the page starts 'painting'.

try this and you will be surprised how fast your browser is. it is just amazing how much control you have over this browser..

By the way, IE7 is finalized.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...s/default.mspx

This browser might kill your computer.
