I just finished
Amazon.com: The Price of Glory: Verdun 1916 (9780140170412): Sir Alistair Horne: Books
Beautifully written although the author's assumption that we all understand french was a bit annoying.
AT this moment I'm reading:
48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene
Art of War of Sun Tzu
Well, I'm no politician in my country and not rather an advocate for the nest world war, but in the modern world of drudgery and broken dreams no one would ever want to feel inferior over the other.

For Gallifrey! For Victory! For the end of time itself!!
Re-reading John Keegan's The First World War. Think I've finally got a handle on that mess in the summer of 1914. Needless to say but Keegan's an excellent historian.
"This aggression will not stand, man!"

"A worthwhile read S2?"
Very much so. Bolo121 is absolutely correct about the introductory paragraph of the first chapter.

I've been thinking about this during the course of the day, I think I will make a point of purchasing it given the recent WW1 threads. The last history book I read was a Blamey book.

Currently reading "Gray Steel and Blue Water Navy" by Benjamin Franklin Cooling. Sort of a technical book covering from 1881-1917 and the creation of the US Navy that we know of today. Half way through it seems amazing that we were able to build a navy given the obstacles in Congress, old thinking navalists and especially from the steel industry.
Just finished this.
Amazon.com: Retribution: The Battle for Japan, 1944-45 (9780307263513): Max Hastings: Books
Max Hastings superb as usual.
For Gallifrey! For Victory! For the end of time itself!!

Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

For Gallifrey! For Victory! For the end of time itself!!
I am reading Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely. It follows a series of self help/psychology books that have been literally in my suitcase for about half a year now.
In my opinion, the book has given me some positive thoughts so far about restructuring my product and it's presentation to potential customers.
The research he has undertaken over many years – (referenced) incorporating some bright minds that are the product of many learning institutions in further research into areas of subconscious control by ones own brain over objective thinking is presented in a way that is very easy to understand, with a full Bibliography for anyone that wishes to read into subject matters presented within the book.
