A Political dream! Wouldn't It Be Great?

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV
AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT,
DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

My Fellow Americans:
As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war,
our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American
forces from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries
which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short.
The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the
world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely.
The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell-holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France.

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home.
On that note, a word to terrorist organizations.
Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize?
Try France, or maybe China.

To Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Yo, boys. Work out a peace deal now. Just note that Camp David is closed. Maybe all of you can go to Russia for negotiations. They have some great palaces there. Big tables, too.
I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia.
Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bon chance, mes amis.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this.
You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers, and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world.
I love New York .

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2.
Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2.
President Fox and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put em? Yep, border security. So start doing something with your oil.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA
treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying,
"darn tootin."

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the
world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America.
It is time to eliminate homelessness in America.
It is time to eliminate World Cup Soccer from America.
To the nations on List 1, a final thought.
Thanks guys. We owe you and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought.
Drop dead.

God bless America.
Thank you and good night.

If you can read this, thank a teacher.
If you are reading it in English,
thank a soldier.

That is a nice speech almost every American would love to hear. However, coming from you Rambo, and religiously speaking, what about the passages of "turning the other cheek," and forgiveness of your enemies?

List 2 got most of the US's oil supply. Sometimes, people just don't think.

@Julie --- We are to forgive those who repent. The Bible also commands us to have laws in society, governments to protect their citizens, & to "love our neighbors". Loving our neighbors is to lay down & risk our lives against the murders of terrorists. To help people that are being murdered (see Hitler, Saddam, etc.)

Na, na, na....you're taking that out of context now. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Mt 6:14 (Nothing about JUST the repenters. )

Yes, love, pray, & forgive. Does this mean not to enforce the law? Did Jesus come to destroy the law?

Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Luke 17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him

Julie,

Is this the TV evangelist Bible thumping page?

You are a Moderator and you can swing the Admins.

Can't we organise some audio video footage along with the posts that have quotes from the Bible and that audio should have the fire and brimstone timbre and the tenor that wakes up dead and the sinners.

"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" - John 8:32.

The consequences of this rebellion against God affected not only Adam and Eve, but also all their descendents. Adam "begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth" (Gen 5.3). Now God's image in man was perverted, and that perverted image was multiplied through procreation. We all became "children of wrath" (Eph 2:3), "sons of disobedience" in whom satan, now "the prince of the power of the air", worked (Eph 2:2)

Even religious people (even psuedos) are not exempt from this. Jesus said to the religious Jews of His day: "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do." (John 8:44).

"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding." Isaiah 40:28

:clears voice that is hoarse with the dramatics:

:thump: thump:

pulpit breaks.

End of Session.

End of Hope.

The Deluge.

Help.

Noah arrives.

Boat overcrowded.

Sinner drowns!

How true.
Besides the US arms industry needs those wars, you can't expect them to start making less money all of sudden.

At some point, you and I as Americans, have to respect the law of Church and State Rambo. You are the originator of this thread which I recognize as political, and I chose not to drown it with religious challenges, which is why I did not respond.

It is my opinion that religious backgrounds, if any, do play a part is political decision-making, however when political issues become deluged with religion, the main topic of discussion becomes lost and buried, together with the solutions and answers.

Yes, your original post would be nice for many Americans to hear, but if you disect it and apply Christian beliefs to what you posted, I find it very selfish in nature. Here are the reasons I say this:

WE, the US, are the ones who made the sole decision to invade Iraq, and if other countries had their own reasons for not wanting to participate, so be it. Yes, remember the ones that did come along, but do not punish the ones that did not. Why, because you don't burn bridges that you may need to cross in the future, for any reason.

You mentioned Israel.....well, now, that is a sore topic with me you see. For one, we have supported them financially and with weapons to the hilt, and they have only abused our friendship by encroaching on others lands, and now they have signed a deal to sell our given weaponries and designs to China for Christ sake. What does this mean? Well, it means, it has costed us billions of dollars to fight the people Israel is pissing off, and if we ever cross paths with China, we may lose yet another many lives with our own weapons. Our overly-broad support of Israel has only fueled many problems for us.

If we cut the funds in half to Israel and invested it more in the homeless Americans, we would be much better off, politically, domestically, and internationally.

Are you asking that we have a Religion Topic Ray? If so, we can at least vote on it and see where it goes. Please respond.

@Julie --- Nice response, sounds like you're into "thread integrity"....so we shall curve this back to topic & give you the benefit of the doubt.

Politics has everything to do with religion. Religion (or beliefs) is the main determination of action. You "act", based on what you "believe". God loves "Acts", he wrote a whole book on it. It's impossible to seperate church & state. There's no such thing as a "Christain Nation", just "Christains that live in a Nation".

Despite what the politically correct and Christ rejectors want in the USA, the Bible is the main influcence. Our Nation (USA) is founded on the Bible. Marraige (man & a woman) was created by God (see Bible), the roots of the Law, etc. It's all Jewish & Christain based. The reason Bush even won the last election was because of the marraige issue being on so many state ballots. The American people spoke! Praise God! It's Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve!

Now, to Iraq, Middle East, & Israel. The fact we have a proclaimed born again Christain, clearly elected by the people of the United States, makes policy simple. YOU MESS WITH ISRAEL, YOU MESS WITH THE USA. God bless George Bush! We are to defend & help the nation of Israel. This does not mean we are to let "law breaking slide" with Israel. It does not give Israel a license to sin. What it does mean, the USA has a strong political base of Christains, and the actions will reflect it.

I'm all for the war in Iraq, but I'm against the tactical plan. This Nation building crap has gone to far, pouring money into a Hellhole (see original post). Why are commanders turning soldiers into policemen, I'll never know. Saddam was a piece of crap, one less murderer.

Actually, my original post had alot of political issues. Far as war, God is the God of war also. The Kingdom of God is not of this world. To mix the flesh & Holy Spirit is impossible. God also has laws. Governments are obligated to protect it's citizens. Seeking out our fleshly enemies (as a government) is necessary.

Uncle Sam ain't no Quaker.
