After the last spam from people who do not even have the courtesy to communicate in English on an English forum, my tolerance for this horse puckey is at an end.

Be that as it may, we have not instituted mass banning and we will not. We are demanding, however, that new posters step up to the plate and provide VERIFIABLE FACTS instead of ad-homeni opinions. To say all 1.3 Billion Chinese support the cause is pure cow droppings. No one can point to a poll saying such things and we will not accept that as truth. We could and do accept the protests to French businesses in China as fact.

That being said, I am extremely disappointed in the lot of new Chinese posters. Very few have the convictions of their beliefs and fewer still are capable of having their convictions challenged.

I would like to thank the Brigadier who provided the bulk of the challenge to the new Chinese posters. Few stood up. Those who did are still here. Those who didn't are gone or on their way out.

Maybe if there was no campaign from anti-CNN, we would be a bit more flexible but we don't appreciate people who wants nothing more than to silence disagreement through shouting instead of facts.

And just an FYI, Mobme, I've also banned pro-Tibetan posters for exactly the same kind of thing.

At the outset let me clarify, I have no agenda out here,

I am here to learn and be more tolerant as I learn of peoples and their ways.

I came on this forum to contest an incorrect view. The Colonel is aware of it and we debated it out. The Colonel was magnanimous and a gentleman and he publicly apologised. Some may feel the victory was mine. I am sorry to say, it wasn't. It was the Colonel's who was magnanimous and a gentleman. I won in a way, since I was educated in the exchange.

This forum was quite an difficult one to be in for non US posters. I was nearly banned. But, even though many would not like it, but Ironman (elevated to Ironduke) humoured me and allowed me my survival. I am now where I am because of their (the forum's) tolerance to differing views. The CCP Chinese must understand this because I survived in the pro Bush and pro Iraq era, when anything said against was heretical!!

I have no qualms with the pro Chinese statements. Indeed I welcome them. It gives me an insight.

But propaganda is not what I can digest.

What do I mean by propaganda? It is like stating that because 1.3 billion Chinese are saying so, and so it is right! Heavens, it is like suggesting a condom off policy to prove one is right!!

I have nothing against Mobme. I only desire facts and not conjectures to say that the forum is biased.

I have seen many a biased fora, but WAB is not one of them!! I can swear an oath on the Bible in any court to say that. At least so far as it is now!
