Wtf?

Just Who The Hell Are You?

You're In Intelligence? You Could Not Verify The Facts?

So Why The Hell Do Countries Who Did A Hell Of A Lot Less Than Canada Get Praised And Canada Get Ignored?

I Suggest That You Verify What I Have Said On Your Own. Google Is At Your Fingertips.

And I Am Damned Surprise That You Don't Know This At All!!!!

You Who Claimed To Belong To The Intel Community!!!!

Regardless on the number of glasses of Talisker I've had, it would seem to me that you are baiting the Colonel. One of the few people on this planet I respect. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..............

You already know all of this so why go any further. No of course later it is expected that you country at least get the praise it deserved through media outlets. Im curious about the 45,000 in your homes. links please
Links?

Did our cousins to the north ask for links when they took those flights to THEIR tarmacs on 9/11?

Please.

Spats and details begone. We are cousins. Brothers. We are one.

Sir, nobody in Ireland would doubt or demean the strong relations that we have with the Canadians, Americans, Kiwis and Ozzies, and a valuable, warm friendship we have with the Brits, but Ireland is an odd case in many regards - Ask 100 Irish people whether they consider links with ABCANZ or links with Europe more important.

I can tell you right now, Europe by a landslide - again, not because Irish people don't consider relations with ABCANZ important, they do, just nowhere near as important as you think they are, and certainly not a heated, 'we're family' style relationship - a cool, calm relationship, involving the rest of Europe, working for the betterment of all.

Foreign relations of the Republic of Ireland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - a short but interesting read.

Personally I'd favour Irish membership of NATO, but the vast majority of my countrymen don't and won't.

A very good example.

Where do the Irish fit in there?

Alcohol supply for OoE?

Ireland's longstanding neutrality prevents those sort of shenanigans.

PS your own wikipedia link mentions the use of Shannon Airport.

Yes, and indeed that is one of, if not the most controversial aspects of the Ahern Government's foreign policy - I'm against US use of Shannon, especially as Amesty International suspect that many are rendition flights who refuel.....money for one of Ireland's less developed regions is their primary 'justification' of it - It doesn't cut ice with most of us, and had Bertie Ahern's government not had such an impressive record at scaremongering, the opposition would have taken power in last year's election (and they certainly will in the next).

A woman took a sledgehammer to a refuelling US fighter plane last year, done 3 million Euros worth of damage, and was then praised by the Worker's party and Socialist party !

As for the booze, I believe OoE drinks Scotch - a drink for the lesser man, but if it's his cup of tea , what harm?
