Wow, i'm disappointed. Just to "protest" these people find a reason like this to protest? I thought protesting was to get your point across and speak for the majority, and this is the TOTAL OPPOSITE. This is totally un-acceptable. Where's the GOOD protestors when we need em? And if they do show up, I hope they're aggressive

I find it very humorous that these idiots attempt stunts like this. Little do they know just how many WWII Vets settled in the California area after they came home from fighting for the rights of these vermin. They will never understand what it is to give for their country nor understand what it takes to be a marine in the first place. The only thing these people understand is very loose laws on drugs, homosexual sex, same sex marriage and the right to speak out against the government and military. What they will never realize is the cost that was paid in order for them to be able to do so. A very sad generation of people indeed.

It looks like Berkeley city council is caving in. I was hoping these anti-war hippie tree huggers have the back bone and the balls not to back down. Guess I had too much expectation from a bunch of socialists. If they could actually stand for what they believe in, we could have saved a few million dollars a year on federal ear marks.

I'd rate it in the top 35 public/private universities in the world. They're not stupid.

They, instead, wallow in an academic utopia while comfortably residing in one of the most pleasant regions on this planet. It's been a VERY long time when any of our universities have been bastions of conservatism. It's not what you do in college-in anything.

Reality sucks...and it's sobering. Let them start paying taxes and sell things/ideas in the world. Baser instinct prevail there and provide longer and harder lessons.
