Zraver I love you. From this point on you are my honorary communist brother in arms
Well ok maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but really . . . . . I thought you were another die hard republican. Your sane words bring back hope to my mind. Maybe not all Americans are busy sniffing their own farts. |

Actually it's done quite well by us, but since we're one of the very few countries in the world that have actually instituted it I doubt you've seen or heard much about it. Why so bitter?

Blue, It is not easy to understand American "ideology" (if there is such a thing). Remember, America is a nation which was preparing to bomb India, a fellow democracy, in 1971 to protect a dictator in a neighbouring country. So now, tell me, are we really to blame for not understanding the drivers and motivations of the American mind? Though, I don't think America is an imperial power, but I do think America is a bit distant to powers which don't want to be under the US wing, and just be a seperate sphere of their own; not one to challenge the US ofcourse, just one to remain seperate and maintain a free independent foriegn policy without the pressure of keeping certain allies in a jolly mood.
