Smiling,

It was not a J Accuse.

It was just stated with a tinge of sadness that unless someone is affected, none cares.

Yes, compare the Lockerbie sabotage with the one by the Khalistani terrorists of the Air India flight.

One was expedited with haste and publicity and one hushed up or should I say botched up by the investigating agencies and the judiciary!

Blame also lies with the spineless, moribund Indian govt.

Even the Bhopal Gas tragedy was botched up under pressure by the Indian govt.

Also the much touted Enron case! In India, nothing has happened and in the US, the bosses are in jail!

Stupid Indians and a more stupid Indian govt!

I'd probably agree with that. One generally gets the impression that a lot of people think that terrorism started on September 11, 01. (my first experience was personally, as a member of the community, in 1973 and probably in realization, care, with the '72 Olympics, but of course, it goes back further than that).

While it is great that the rest of the country is now on board, it still bites that one had an antiterrorism mission in the 1988, but the recognition for that work is only post 9/11/01.

The silver lining is that at least now the bull is being caught by the horns.
