Actually, I can see his point, Hoss. Your ability to process information is about half of what you think it is.

It seems you doubt a lot of things that are, in fact, true. And using a thinking strategy you're so fond of, I'm going to assume that based on some of the discussions I've seen you engage in that I'm probably twenty to thirty years older than you, and have had a whole lifetime more of experience working with, engaging with and dealing with diverse populations. I could be wrong though, because I recognize I'm using a thinking error.

Thanks. I have been. When you're finally down to nothing more than childish barbs, I know you have nothing left.

I thought your avatar was a clonetrooper from Revenge of the Sith ... of maybe Jango fett in Ep 2. By the way BSG in in production in Vancouver along with the new Alien vs predator movie.. you should have a spy report for us.

I am not sure if you watch babylon 5, but they are also producing several new short-movies on a direct-to-DVD format ... also in vancouver

.. that is what I like about the characters .... they are too human. the show is full of shades of grey, jerks and a-holes.

though I think their quest to find earth is ripoff of one of Isaac Asimov latest book of Foundation series: foundation and earth

Didn't you always wonder why they didn't put more humans or Jaffa in those Kull warrior suits after seeing Vala in one? It would make someone protected from all the small arms they had against them, including that Kull Distruptor.

My apologies for the off-topic post.

Look here forn the origin of my avatar..

Kull Warrior - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As for spy reports, I wish! My workplace is mere blocks from the Paramount studio's, the same studio's that saw SG-1 production. My co-worker was in tears for weeks when he knew Haily Berry was mere blocks away fliming X-men 2. IIRC a replica of a colonial Viper is also present, I'd love to hop into that thing!

Babylon 5 gets zero airplay these days on the Space channel here, which is sad, I liked it too. I'm a spaceship/spacebattle nut, which is why I hope the preposed series "Caprica" gets put into production. We should see large battlestar fleets much like the ones mentioned in the original series. and perhaps even snipets of the first cylon war.

Vala (Claudia Black) is hot in any suit they put her in

Those Kull warriors are nasty, good thing they have short lifespans!

Its that "for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction" thing. I admit, I sometimes let the childish and petty little jabs get the best of me. I would prefer not to stoop to the same level, but heh - I can be just as human as you guys.

With Battlestar's ratings sorta sucking, and being moved to a Sunday slot I think it was, I don't care if Caprica ever gets off the ground, I just want BSG not to get cancelled for now. I guess that's what happens to shows that lack any preconcieved story arc at all, people eventually get disinterested because for all the twists and turns, it didn't really go that far. That's my take.

I just think, from what I've read, that you shouldn't always assume that the other guy is using faulty logic. That seems to be why Dalem and Bluesman and etc have gotten on your case. Its just as much about how you present what you think, not only what your actual ideas are. If you present yourself in arrogant manner, people are likely to overlook your arguments, be they smart or otherwise.
