That must have been rather taxing to have thought up a secret taxation manifesto for Labour to implement after the next election - not a labour supporter per chance Glyn?

Hardly, dear heart. Haven't you read any of my posts? When I still believed in UK party politics I was a Tory on a District Council. Now I am free from party politics and can vote for the 'least worse' as there is no longer an obvious 'best'. I can even have the luxury of voting in tactical mode where I feel this might have an impact. To all the political parties I say "A pox on all your houses, put the country and the needs of the people first"!

A 'Jobsworth' is a paid employee of some organisation in which he has a modicum of power which he uses to enforce hidebound rules on the public. I was an elected Conservative councillor during the Thatcher years and none of us Tories claimed the expenses we were entitled to out of principle.
