Dear boy, you'd better tell Russians to fight for freedom within their own country rather than desparately trying to downgrade to the "eurasian" status the countries that have made democratic progress. And why don't you take out that silly logo "Russia will save Europe" from you posts. Are you implying that Russia is trying to "save" Europe from its democratic freedoms?

By the way, why nobody pays attention to what is going on in Russia these days. This country is moving back to where it was at the time of Soviet Union, in terns of freedoms and civil rights, very fast. Don't forget they still got lots of nukes. What if Russians catch this "suicide attacker" disease and start shooting nukes without fearing retaliation? They are in a highly contagiouse area by the way

Who really cares anyway? I mean the EU is a stupid idea, they're already arguing amongst themselves, it is destined to fail. If they asked Australia to join, I hope we'd tell them to shove it.

The EU must be abolished, because it's abolishing everything Europe (used to) stand(s) for.

Meh. Europe can do what they want. Britain should withdraw though, and start trading with commonwealth nations as exclusively as possible.

I agree, although along with Commonwealth I would include US too.

It sure as hell never stood for "multiculturalism", which is what I truly despise and blame for most of the problems.

True, but just because it stood for something else (if it stood for anything at all) doesn't mean that was something worth holding on to. My opinion is that Europe never stood for anything. It was simply the most powerful place in the world for a few hundred years. That doesn't have anything to do with some noble purpose.

Your opinion differs from mine, and facts

but you never said what Europe stood for even though that was my question. So I have to assume you don't know. How can facts support a non-existant answer? Or do you now have an answer?

Right now it's based on Kant and Karl Marx, at least as far as "inttelectuals" go.

I did already, more or less, answer it though.

But do you want me to give you a list? I hope you're kidding...

Here in the Netherlands they are Stalinists in the media and Troskites in the government: simply a killer mix!

Dunno, all three political parties seem to be Pro-EU. Besides, Britain doesn't have the strongest economy around, i don't know how wise it would be to abandon trade with its main partners.
