Water Mafia ?? Helloooooo ??? By BBC
This article is from BBC site and quite surprising.
'Water mafia' That is when I first heard about the so-called "water mafia". The morning's newspaper talked of men striking in broad daylight. Recently, in southern Delhi, they had come armed with pickaxes, pipes and wrenches. Within a day, they had cut into a city water main and rigged a diversion. Indians are already fighting Indians for enough to drink Their chosen neighbourhoods now had plenty, but further south, taps ran dry. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programme...nt/3577502.stm |
