US congress hearing on india-us nuke deal

yesterday(4-5-06), on c-span, secretary of state C. Rice appeared before a senate commitee and tried to make a case for approving the india-us nuke deal. two democratic senators(joe biden of delaware and paul Sarbanes of maryland) thought that india should not get this civilian nuclear deal. a lot of indo-americans in the us are complaining that members of their own community are not taking an active interest in us politics and election efforts. well, here is a perfect opportunity to get involved in the us political process. indo-american voters as a group should make an effort to find out which us politicians are opposed to this deal and use their financial and political strength to vote these people out of office in the next us elections.
