When Samudra was scared....
It rained last night and the whole place was very picturistic.I duly got my gizmo to snap a few shots of the place while I suddenly meet these two people.....

Fruit bats/Flying foxes...UBER CUTE! I always enjoyed tracking the bats with my flashlight as they went after cadisflies and moths skimming over a lake.

Yes, harmless, they're only interested in fruit, so unless you're a banana, mango, or the like, you should have nothing to worry about.
We like bats because they're soft, furry, flighted mammals that lead unusual yet ecologically important lives, and fruit bats are very BIG bats. How could anything with those big, beautiful brown eyes, soft fur, and gorgeous wings be ugly and disgusting? |
