My dad and I visited the sub probably right around the time they were drawing up the plans for the restoration back in the late 90s. I was slightly shell-shocked at the poor state of the sub - inside and out - and the condition of the overall exhibit. I had not been there since grade school and a lot of happy childhood memories took a beating that day. They've since been restored ![]() |
