Yep, made for a good photo op I guess.
It was my roomate's 50th B-day, and I ended up being the ordnance master.
The guy across the street bought up a bunch of fireworks cheap, and I was the nut that got to light them all off.
Naturally I went with the 44-gun broadside

Er..hmmm...didn't you read the safety instructions before you began? Or, do you just smile at danger? On the 4th of July, we run and hide behind a barricade when my husband sets them off then he runs ....I never see him holding them like you do.

Directions? Me? A man??
I'm not sure about smiling at the danger, probably just lack of brains more so than an overabundance of cojones
Most of the fireworks were set off by me, ready to bolt at the first sputter of the wick. Those Roman Candles were an exception.

We used to be able to set off fireworks, now you get arrested/fined if you are even found with them in your pocession. They come around and hand out flyers every year at the end of June/beginning of July that encourge people to turn in people who have fireworks in the name of "being a good citizen", the same method they will use to take our guns away when Hillary takes over.

Fireworks are supposedly illegal in Georgia too. But, in SC, they are not, and the border is just 45 minutes away. Everyone in SE Georgia buys them there, and the law is only enforced here if a neighbor happens to call the police because he can't go to sleep because of the noise. If that happens, the law doesn't arrest anyone, just warns them.

They might have taken our flag....but even little Misss Hillary WILL NOT disarm the South. You can take that to the bank sweetie.

They will never have our guns.

When I get called out to fireworks calls I usualy just advise the people doing it to go somewhere else. I figure its pretty harmless and no use being a b**ch about nothing.

If only the Suffolk County Police would think the same ....

Julie, glad to see that you can have fun and celebrate freedom, as for Hillary, she would rig elections just to get absolute power, never underestimate her.

LOL...I'm a woman Chris...I already know never to underestimate a woman, Hillary is no exception. You can bet it up I keep a close eye on her. She's going to run, she's already setting a stage for a platform.
