World Youth Day 2008

As all of you know I went to Syndey for World Youth Day and promised to post pictured when I returned. As I said in the other thread I arrived yesterday afternoon. Here are most of the pictures, I will add a few more tommorow morning.

These are the first pictures I have ever posted of myself so don't feel bad about yourselves when you see how good I look.

Here you go:

Me and Aux. Bishop Caggiano.

The Pope at Barangaroo.

The Pope at Barangaroo.

The Heads.

Sydney from a ridge.

Arrival in Hong Kong.

Arial Hong Kong.

Sydney Harbor Bridge and Sydney Opera House from the beach.

Darling Harbor.

A koala that loves New Yorkers.

Golden Gaytime, it's been known to happen from time to time.

Bondi beach. (Make sure you pronounce it Bond-eye!)

The weather was beautiful! I love New York winters that are much, much colder so 40-50 degrees everyday is my kind of weather. I could comfortably move to Sydney.

James,

When you move to Sydney you can buy one of those 'apartments' overlooking Bondi ( BON-DIE) Beach for a STEAL at about 1.5 to 2 million.

Where are the pics of Kings Cross and Oxford St?

....and the Koala is drunk! The Eucalyptus oil in the leaves they eat all day has a similar effect to alcohol.

John.

I will invite WAB to my house warming party when I move to Bondi beach.

Not much to see in Kings Cross other than bars and the train station. I took a couple of pictures of some Brooklyn graffiti that somehow made it's way to Sydney.

I bit one of the leaves the koalas eat, they taste pretty terrible.
