Kams,
I see you like Canon's, their high end's are good, but the lower ends are cheapy ![]() Anyway, why is the focus soft on the yellow flower? I take it you shot it with a POS ? John- The Amphicar engine was from the Triumph Herald. As you can tell, it was rear-engined. The tranny was German, very similar to a VW bug. They had nylon propellers, and the front wheels acted as the rudder in the water.
There was one in Sitka when I was a kid, I have always thought they were neat, but they were fairly maintenance intensive- door seals, Lucas electrical system, etc. I got a few pics as he was going by. He was cruising along pretty good! Last edited by highsea : 02-09-2007 at 01:34 AM. |

here are some very nice pics from Japan: .. .TOkyo, Kyoto and Osaka
i took them in summer when i went for a visit the last one is the Osaka castle, the couple of first ones are from the Edo Palace right in the middle of metropolis of Tokyo
