I see you like Canon's, their high end's are good, but the lower ends are cheapy

OMG!! That is a beautiful picture dude! I saw that on History Channel. I forget - Whose motor does it have? I would love going fishing in that one. Imagine never having to move your cooler!!

John- The Amphicar engine was from the Triumph Herald. As you can tell, it was rear-engined. The tranny was German, very similar to a VW bug. They had nylon propellers, and the front wheels acted as the rudder in the water.

There was one in Sitka when I was a kid, I have always thought they were neat, but they were fairly maintenance intensive- door seals, Lucas electrical system, etc.

I got a few pics as he was going by. He was cruising along pretty good!

the last one is the Osaka castle, the couple of first ones are from the Edo Palace right in the middle of metropolis of Tokyo
