Early flight - Clips of vintage film footage of failed attempts - on Bore Me . My favourite is at 0.40 .
dedicated to glyn who probably witnessed most of these firsthand

All the clips are well known, but they do show the courage possessed by the pioneers. I take my hat off to them.

Then again, those Aussies are very no-nonsense people.

It's a real sign, It made the news here a couple of years ago. It was at a mining site in Kalgorely in West Oz

ONLY IN YOUR DREAMS

It's a funny place America, most of the worlds porn comes from there, but the church has such a large influence. Somewhere in between is there must be a happy medium.

The US free to air TV, from what I hear is fairly tame. Down here, it's pretty much open slather on what you can watch. The MA15+ movies are on after 9.30 at night. Even our soapies from time to time have nudity. We even have a comedy show shown late at night where the F word is dropped fairly often.

The two links below are from free to air TV.

Ernest the Engine Cart - AOL Video

YouTube - Chopper-CPR

The above link is a parody of Chopper Reid is an ex con who is going straight, so he tells everyone, he was called chopper because he lost his ears in a knife fight in Gaol.

A lot of the stuff that is on cable in the US is shown on free to air, EG: Penn & Teller, Sex in the city, Jerry Springer from time to time appears at midday.

All in all we have a fairly free rein on what goes to air.

Come on down, take a look.
