i had porshe 928 6 years ago for a week , my friend went on vacation and let me use it while he was away. the best car i ever drove, pick up is amaizing, interior super sharp, the best i liked how engine sounded, no other car sounds like that.i could feel the sound. mechanicly it's not complicated at all i did tune up my self, changed breaks , put in new stereo system.
even 20 years old i'd still choose it over new cars. too bad i can't have 2seater. family you know. |

928's have little back bucket seats in em. Kids would fit easy. Adults...forget it.
LOL. Yeah, dont think i'll be taking the V-8 out of mine anytime soon. The Porsche V-8 sound: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...928+rain&hl=en |

Sniper, when are you going to the wide open west so you can put that car to good use? I know of some roads that would make the 928 feel right at home. |

Oregon. The slowest state in the west
Fortunatly we have pared down the state trooper numbers so they are not as much as a nuicance as they used to be. The real risks are when the wildlife jumps out on the road and there are places on the East side that are free range areas. It is impressive to see what a cow can do to a car. Bunny thumping is an unofficial past time in eastern Oregon. I once hit 14 on a five mile stretch south of Burns. They come in waves and race across the road befor you drive by. The twisty mountain roads however, were made with a 928 in mind ![]() |

Nice car you have there Snipe, I always liked the lines on the 928. Being more of a traditionalist my own preference is the 911. Here's a pic of my 1995 - 911 C4 Porsche 911 C4.jpg

The passes over the Sierras would be quite fun as well. Hairpin curves and a 20+% grade. The roads south of lake Tahoe would be a thrill also. There is a highway just south of Mono lake where you could litterally fly the 928, though the landings would be harsh.
