Sri Mangeshi Temple

The 18th Century Mangeshi temple dedicated to Lord Shiva

The majestic Deepasthamba or column of lights to the north of the temple. An imposing column in Goa and looks most beautiful on festival nights when illuminated with traditional oil lamps.

You pass this church while driving down to Calangute/ Baga/ Anjuna/ Vagator beaches on the CHOGM road.

Which village? I stay in Porvorim when ever I go to Goa, as I have some friends there.

No feni, I just brought back 2 bottles of home made orak. Besides we had a blast of a time inspite of the summer heat - there is something about Goa or the orak that one drinks
