    US Casualties in Iraq

13 casualties this past month (Oct 2008), of which 8 were combat related.

In case the graphic doesn't work, here's the link to the chart of casualties by month since March 2003: http://www.icasualties.org/oif/USDeathByMonth.aspx

There is an old military term used throughout the ages "acceptable losses"
Somehow never seems appropriate in todays wars.

Should raw analytical data ever be passed to policy makers?
