I believe the deal with Google Maps satellite over US installations is it is a few months old. I think there are now 4 carriers in Norfolk, but I am not sure. I MAY be down in Newport News this weekend. If thinbgs permit I'll slip over the Hampton Roads Bridge and take a gander at what is in.

I guess another way to check would be to look at what is sitting at Oceanna.

Where do you live? I am up in Prince George County...and I did not get down there this weekend. Spent most of it with a rake in my hand....except for when I was getting drenched yesterday afternoon?

Stole? Hey, we took it when you weren't looking!

We TRIED to give it back in 1814 but you just decided to trash it and leave!

if you could get your naval yards up to speed and build us another 2 cvf in half the time we build them it would be appreciated. 4 cvf would be something to be proud of.

A prime example of a carrier battlegroup would have been TF38 once they emerged from Leyte the few days after battle, refueled, rejuvinated and rearmed and meeting up with the British carrier force and on the prowl again with Okinawa and the home islands dead in their sights. The march to the end was on.
