That bow is what gives it away immediately. No such warship exists, except on paper. And a warship of that size would be very well known amongst even the amateur naval enthusiast community
Note, that Phalanx CIWS aft betrays it as American-designed or at least Western/Western-allied.
And CGI and paintings are more than capable of showing that kind of realism, especially in a still photograph.
The photo is very realistic. Lack of detail would be a critcal factor in obtaining Stealth. Totally flat surfaces inclined at least 15 degrees off level is a "simple" way of DEflecting RADAR rather than REflecitng it back.
As for the bow, that's logical (though not very sea kindliness) as a standard bow stem would deflect RADAR beams down to the bow spray and then back to the sender.
Able to leap tall tales in a single groan.
looking at it, there's a Japanese Rising Sun on the fan tail..
Isn't the Zumwalt supposed to have two AGS turrets?
I'm willing to bet that its an artist's concept of a future Zumwalt-based DDG or possible CG for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, nobody has tumblehome bows on captial ships yet.
You know JJ, Him could do it....
I'd hope not, since there are very few "capital" ships in the world.. the US has less than a dozen of them (Aircraft carriers) not sure what the rest of the world has, but probably less than two dozen combined..
destroyers and cruisers are definitley NOT capital ships..
I'm surprised this is not a Chinese warship. After all, Photoshop is the most prolific arms exporter for the PLA.
"Only Nixon can go to China." -- Old Vulcan proverb.
Actually, we have more then a dozen if we were to include the "fossils" capital ships now days outside the American CVN's are your nuclear deterent submarine force. Atleast here in the US they now own capital ship (state) names that once belonged to the most beautiful ships ever created.)
