    On every single defense website, or national city websites, I have never seen Russia's military budget. It always says N/A, so they are breaking the law? And if so, does anyone care? Is there military budget that bad that they wont show it?

    in fact, duma, the parliament of russian,is a formality and uselessness.Alought soviet union broke up in 1991,russia still remaind some old "remnants" of it,s
    ruling style.(absolute governing,highly centralized control,)
    I heard that president putin long for bringing russia back to the glorious age of soviet red empire.
    According to my prediction, india will become a main competitor of american around india ocean, and persian gulf in the next decade.

    SOME FACTS:
    India's defence budget for 2004 was $16.74 billion which was only 2.55% of its GDP.
    where as Pakistan's defence budget in 2004 was $3.32 billion, which was 5.5% of its GDP.
    China's 2004 defence budget was for US$25.6 billion, which was 6% of its GDP.
    ================================================== ====
    how would that be possible man? it only needs a 6 grader math to figure it out. china's GDP is twice and more of the indian's, and our 6% GDP budget is 25.6 billion some where around your 2.55% GDP? how?

    Is the arm purchase count as part of the defense budget in India? Just want to know. I also heard that India is running an account deficit on their balance, is that true? And what is the inflation like in India?

    Yeah, I don’t think the Chinese budget will be 25 b; it’s only less than 1.5% of the GDP. Somewhere around 4 to 5 % will be more reasonable.

    Well yes the arms purchases are. but the seret projects like ATV some missiles not yet declared etc etc are funded with loopholes in the budget .
    About the chineese it surely is much mroe than 25B$. Just that chineese prefer to tell the wrld that they spend 25B$.they are spending above 60B$.

    " I heard that president putin long for bringing russia back to the glorious age of soviet red empire."

    Glorious?

    I guess waiting 4 hours in line for toilet paper is glorious...

    A more accurate statement would be:

    "I hear Putin want's to force the Russian people back into the tyranny of communist oppression again".
