Lemon, what wars/battles have you fought in? The only interesting indian soldier i have gotten to know was a colonel that fought in borderline disputes and the 1998 war. I think it was 1998 right? Maybe im wrong but it was a mountain war or something? Hes a para-commando. Your cool to, but i have a question(s). My teacher said that India has no chance at defending against China. He said that if China really wanted to, it could destroy India. By the way this guy is my social studies teacher who is of Chinese origin. He says that China has a lot of fighter jets, far greater than India. I told him they have 4000 and they suck ass. He said "where do u get your info from? Why would a major power give out their information? Countries like China, Russia, and the U.S. always have more and better equipment that they say." Does this go for India to, and would India be subject to a defeat by China?

Essay, your family is nuts. You guys are one of those rebel maoist peole in Nagaland right? I always thought how dumb you people were. lol. ANyways you said grandpa blew himself up trying to kill enemies? Hes not a soldier, hes a stupid cheap terrorist. All the Chinese are a well disciplline farmers. Hes like the fundamentalists in the middle East. WHy are you proud of that? And why do you support the idiot Mao? Hes a dictator, and close minded one at that.

And tell him if India wanted to, it can destroy China.

By the way this guy is my social studies teacher who is of Chinese origin.
    Jingoism.

He says that China has a lot of fighter jets, far greater than India.
And how many are them worth flying anyway??

Why would a major power give out their information?
Actually China still is not a technological power. Most of their planes are imported/copy of Russian planes. Their most advanced plane..Su-27 is bought/license copied from Russia. So even if they dont say it out, we know about the deal, how much are paid for and how many are delivered, right from the nuts and bolts to the missiles they import.

Does this go for India to, and would India be subject to a defeat by China?
China may win the war, but they'll loose China in the process.

Wow, man, that’s a very interesting though. How can you compare the heroes and terrorists anyway? How disrespectful is that to any solider from any country?

I don’t know how you define a terrorist, but mine is pretty clear and understandable to me----someone that use violence that harms the innocent civilians. Does it apply here? In fact PLA states this kind of thing very clear in their regulation when deal with civilians. I never even doubted the action the US conducts in IRAQ, pretty much supported it but after read your definition of terrorists, I seriously start to change my mind of this war on “terror”.

Why don’t you proud of someone that gives their lives for the country? Well discipline farmers do give their lives to what they believe in, so does Indians! Why you start such personal attack anyway?

Not a single word essay said was to show you “Chinese superiority upon Indians” and make you angry that way, why you put it on his head anyway? Is he, or am I here to sort out our differences, so we can be nice to each other?

Mao did many things wrong, but he also lead Chinese out of the deepest sh*t hole which Chinese suffered since 1840, he united Chinese as a country and lead us out of the war, just like king Qin did thousands years ago, united china the first time, but nobody say he was not a violence evil man! But people still respect what he did right and against his wrong doing at the same time. Like King Qin, Mao is not an idiot; no idiot can lead a country! Many people say Bush is an idiot but I think most of us are idioter than him, that’s why he is the president! Nobody supports dictatorship but it doesn’t mean people have nothing to thank him for.

It is so surprised to hear that you name Chinese as fundamentalists, you know nothing about this nation anyway, even the communism was adopted from outsider, and how you explain the adoption of market economy? I will tell you yes, they are adopting the democracy slowly, but surly in progress. People fundamentally adopt the cold war communism vs. capitalism, which was really aim to the Russians, that’s called communist fundamental states! It does not make sensewhat you have said! Even Chinese don’t know what the hack they should call their systems, not capitalism but not pure communism neither!

You are referring to the Brigadier, don't demote him, he is a one star general.
He has fought in all Indian wars from 1971 onwards, including the 1999 (Kargil war).

actually it wont be fare to compare india with the emrging superpower like china.it has a great economy, great millitery power.if u people look at the map of india and china i dont think naval war can play any big role. but if just compared betwen the navies then navy also needs an air support.where india falls short against china.we cant put our 2nd generation airforce which is alrady facing high crash rate problems, against 4th generation chinese airforce.so with the help of its advanced airfroce they can sink sink our navy.i hope govt will take some serious steps to modernize our airforce.this thread can be discussed after 15 yrs,but in todays date india vs china????? NO MATCH.
