BRAC is out!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heres the main proposed closures for the USN:
"Nine major Navy bases will close, including Submarine Base, New London, Conn.; Willow Grove Naval Air Station, Pa.; Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Maine; Naval Station Ingleside, TX; Naval Station Pascagoula, Miss.; and Naval Air Station Atlanta." Other major USN closings: South Naval Facilities Eng. Command, Charleston, SC; Naval Support Activity New Orleans, LA; Naval Support Activity Corona, CA; Naval Supply Corps School Athens, GA.
I know that makes 10. One of them must fail the criteria a a major base closing. I believe it could be SC Facilities Command as it is housed in leased property. Although its job losses meet the criteria. |
