I'll let someone else answer regarding capability, but Cassard and Jean Bart carry in electronics/sensors:

- DRJB-11B, D/E-Band 3D long range air search radar, range around 200nm (some sources: up to 250nm)
- Thales LW08 / Jupiter II (DRBV-26C), D-Band medium/long range air/surface search radar, range around 100nm (some sources including Jane's: up to 150nm)
- Vampir (DIBV-2A), passive IR search/track sensor integrated with radar
- 2x Raytheon SPG-51C missile control (for illumination)

- ARBB-33 J/H/I-Band jammer
- ARBR-17 ESM suite
- CSEE Najir optronic/tv tracker

- SENIT-6 Combat Management System (partly upgraded to SENIT-8 standard, as mounted on Charles de Gaulle)

The sensor suite is pretty close to the one mounted on Charles de Gaulle, lacking the Arabel 3D radar used with the Aster 15, and the DRBV-15C low-altitude surveillance radar. CdG also carries a newer variant of Jupiter (DRBV-26D).

The DRBJ-11B is the AAW-specific system here of course. I've seen it being compared to SPY-1D in some places, but other ppl should give some better comment about that.

Regarding SM-1MR, there have been idle thoughts about replacing the system with either VLS Aster 30, or upgrading to SM-2 (similar to Australia's Adelaides). Both is rather unlikely though, rather they'll probably stay as they are until replacement.

US- Has Technology and supieror training except the sailors want off the boats. its not what they thought it would be.
Russia- no like the USSR but they are still a force to be reconned with, putin invested a whole bunch of money into the military and have the new borei class thats going to be a rival to the tridents, they have one in the fleet but they have another expected in 2009.
China- uh, they are building a navy, like usual there buying things from the ruskies, and they are building a blue water navy that might be a force.
england- there pretty talented. dicipline is the best. but there fleet is small. but is very technological
germany- yes germany they have the quietest subs now... but besides that nothin much else.

As per my knowledge India has more navy ships then UK but don’t know how effective are this navy ships are ?
