Apparently...What will be interesting is to what length and breadth will this story be allowed to grow.

There will surely be some below the belt questions asked of the defence minister in the bear pit of parliment question time this week.

If you see any Aussie diggers walking around with silly grins and stretch marks on their necks you will know why.

I'm going to get some serious flak here but my personal belief is that the Government should never have allowed homosexuals (and this also applies to sex changes, breast enlargements et al) to serve in the AF - homophobe? no, but I believe having non-straights serving upsets the equalibrium within units as it becomes a case of "us and them" and certain groups become alienated which is not good for morale and unit cohesion.

Though I agree with you in some respects.

us and them mentality is evident in other spheres. Scots and English. But they do serve in the same military. Even race etc. The US and THEM syndrome is something that cannot be wiped off, by blocking off one group. It is rather a better option to engage them.
For a woman jet fighter pilot , it is always the US and THEM syndrome.
Religion, Race, Caste, Social Standing, Sexual Prefrences, Area of domicile, political inclinations; are all US and THEM.

This is such a silly story.

On that note, it is only reasonable to request visual evidence regarding the quality of work performed before drawing conclusions.

I second that motion. Before and after photos would allow us to decide whether or not this was indeed a waste of taxpayer dollars.

As long as they pay for a breast job for a woman sailor, I see nothing wrong with it. Its when the males start getting it done.

RE: Australian navy pays for breast enlargements

I guess I will have to stop complaining about the stupidity of the US Government. We have room to get worst!
