Are you thinking about the Visby-class?

It is not a battleship but a corvette (uhm..at least if in english the same expression are used for this type of class..I have to admin I dont have a clue about that)

It has 650t, is 72m long and 10,4m wide. The Crew is about 40 men and the ship can reach over 35 knots. It has also has a hangar deck for helicopters.

Its Armament consist of Bofors 57 mm/70 SAK Mk3, 8 × RBS15 Mk2 Anti-ship-missles, 4 × 400 mm tubes for Type 43/45 torpedoes, ASW mortars Saab Alectro 601 127mm and it has mine-laying capacities. The class seems to lack any Anti-Air weapons or I am missing something.

It is a patroulship only designed for activities near the cost, but they are currently working on a upgraded high-sea version which would be much bigger and have a crew almost dubble the size.

Bingo thanks. They are impressive though, they could use anti aircraft weaponry for sure. But how many sea vessels can actualy be considered as Stealthy!
Wow would love to get a ride on that Visby. Lol. I wonder what the price tag would be on one of those!

Some assembly required, batteries not included. Oh and the weapon systems are extra. Nice ship though. Remind me of the LCS's.

Nobody but the U.S. ownes battleships (true battleships that is).

England still has one from the days of sail Warrior. (Awesome to see). And Japan still has Togo's flagship Mikasa I believe. Outside of that all battleships were scrapped by the 1960's.

The USA has ten real Battleships that still exist, two in reserve and five as museums, and two that are sunk at Pearl Harbour and now are memorials.

USS Texas, now a museum is located in La Porte, Houston, Texas,

USS Massachusetts, now a museum, is located in Fall River, Massachusetts,

USS North Carolina, now a museum, located in Wilmington, North Carolina,

USS Alabama, now a museum, located in Mobile, Alabama

USS Arizona, sunk in pearl Harbour, now a memorial.

USS Utah (converted to a radio controlled target ship) sunk in Pearl Harbour, now memorial.

USS Iowa, in reserve fleet, was being moved to California to be converted to a museum.

USS Missouri, now a museum, located in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii

USS Wisconsin, now a museum, located in Norfolk, Virginia

USS New Jersey, to be converted to a museum, is being moved to Camden, New Jersey

Other Battleships:
Mikasa, a pre-dreadnought, Admiral Togo's Flagship at the battle of Tsushima, has been removed from the sea and laid up in concrete as a museum near Yokosuka, Japan.

HMS Warrior, a museum in Portsmouth is not a true battleship, HMS Warrior is more similar to an ocean-going centre battery ironclad than a battleship because, HMS Warrior does not have any armoured rotating turrets that house heavy guns and HMS Warrior has three masts for sails.

HMVS Cerbus, Ironclad, oceaning going Ironclad battleship, sunk as a breakwater, at Black Rock, Victoria, Australia (efforts are underway to raise and restore HMVS Cerebus as a museum)

Huascar, monitor, mueum, Talcahuano, Chile

Solve, Coastal Monitor, museum, Gothenburg, Sweden

Cairo, Civil War River Ironclad, museum, Vicksburg, Mississippi, USA.

I was under the impression to list only functional battleships. As Arizona, Utah and Texas would not fit this catagory.

Texas is still afloat and appears to be in good order. She still has the coal fired power plant and is listed on the American Engineering list being the last of its kind technology wise.

Arizona and Utah are considered war grave memorials. Non usable and they would not consider touching them unless absolutely necessary. In any case it would be souley for enviromental concerns. Very much like the Royal Oak in Scapa Flow.

The rest are operaple in theory but they would go with the Iowa's if they had to choose ones to send back to service for the USN.

New Jersey is a museum and had been now for about 4-1/2 years now.
