I am a combat-wounded warrior and I love insensitive computer game developers, especially the ICGDs who made the Call of Duty, Battlefield Bad Company and Medal of Honor series. In fact I've enjoyed many hours icing Nazi's, Taliban and assorted terrorists and insurgents while drinking my favorite iced beverage.

Doubtful. Dude was banned not once, but twice. I don't see him coming back here, unless he has some sort of Martyr complex. I do see an influx of new agitators, however

Woo Hoo - The fair is held at the fair grounds, normally at the end of summer, just about now (a few weeks late here, the fair is over in WI)... If you want a fair - go there...

Had a go at Rome Total War... got bored fairly quick. I understand that if you're a computer geek you can make some vaguely realistic scenarios on it; see this pc re-enactment of Omdurman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Re3k7...90AFAB4BB65AA5

The Total War series have pretty good engines but terrible historical accuracy, the fan made mods for RTW and M2TW are much better then the originals.

I like KOEI's Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the Ambitions of Oda Nobunaga series quite a bit. (though those are hard to come by in the west)

We are looking forward to the release of the next COD/MW, in November, I think. I've changed the oil and spark plugs on the XBOX so we are in a state of combat readiness.

was always a fan of civ 2. civ 4 was good too. the latest civ is utter dreck.

shogun 2 has been a fun game.
The human mind cannot grasp the causes of phenomena in the aggregate. But the need to find these causes is inherent in man’s soul. And the human intellect, without investigating the multiplicity and complexity of the conditions of phenomena, any one of which taken separately may seem to be the cause, snatches at the first, the most intelligible approximation to a cause, and says: “This is the cause!"

Better to play war on the computer than to have to fight them in real life I would say.

<3 Battlefield series and Europa Universalis series
The one you see is a decoy.
