    Telling it like it is

As most of you know, us Aussies are a no nonsense lot who tell it like it is.

The link below is a bar tab from the Royal Mail Hotel in Meekatharra, in Western Australia. Meekatharra is a small mining town, about 400 km east of the WA coast, not far from the tropic of Capricorn. Every day is hot, 35+, 45 is often.

Australian miners, like all miners are a rough, tough bunch who work hard and play hard. When they drink, they don't muck around. Beer is the usual drink, JD and Bundy Rum comes a close second. Sickly sweet ladies drinks like Barcadi Cruisers, when consumed by ladies are called "tart fuel", when consumed by a man, his sexuality is questioned. Obviously, the person who consumed said drink must have drawn attention to himself as the bar tab shows.

I know, there are people who have no idea what a "poofter" is, check the link.poofter - Wiktionary

I'm getting worried about you, Lukins. It's just a picture of a dog reading a letter!

That's nothing. The one that wrote the letter, now that's something.
