Theres quite a few Metal heads round here. But I miss when it was just fecking metal, and you could ask someone. "Hey do you like metal?" and they would say "Yeah." or "No". Now that same conversation would go into a five hour fecking tangent on sub genres and how *insert band here* does not adhere complete to the rules of the genre therefore it must be *new 10 word stupid fucking genre*+/- core suffix.

Right now im big into Insomnium and Amon Amarth, (Melodic Death sub-genre), but also need a regular fix of Sabaton (Power Metal Sub Genre), and recently also been listening to a bit of Agalloch (Unsure how to catagorise them)

Back in the good old days I would have labeled Agalloch as progressive doom metal.. although I have no idea what is "correct" today.

I'm a sucker for great bassists and, fortunately, there are actually quite a few. Still, this young lass has made an indelible mark uber-early in her career. Truly, the sky's the limit given her youth and remarkable accomplishments already.
