Those who can't change become extinct.
Married w/ Children
"Only Nixon can go to China." -- Old Vulcan proverb.
Laurel and Hardy
Able to leap tall tales in a single groan.
Seriously, I laughed until my abs ached with Police Squad starring Leslie Nielsen. The only problem with the show was you had to watch it from second to second to catch the subliminal sight gags as well as the verbal jokes.
"Sergeants. Take him and book him."
Nielsen (reaches out to shake the hands of two men): Sgt Takum? Sgt Bookum? Pleased to meet you."
Sight gag: Nielsen captures woman criminal and tells the uniformed officers to run her in. As they turn away and the camera dollys back, you see a cop firing a gun in the air and two other cops with the female suspect jump forward from starting blocks and run around the corner.
Company stopped coming over when I told them to shut up during the show as I didn't care about how wonderful last Sunday's church sermon was (if I wanted to know, I would have gone to church).
Able to leap tall tales in a single groan.
My choice of shows would be:
Father Ted
Third rock from the sun
Only fools and horses
And my choice of womanly delights...
Mellisa Theuriau
mmmmmmmmmmmm nice.
Here's a picture of one of her countrymen.
