Time to start a military scale modeling forum here!
Hey guys, since we are all aviation, Armour and naval enthuiasts, its only natural to reactivate the modeling forum that was here back in the day when Snipe horrido and Gio started the forum. I only think it will tremendously boost the popularity of this forum, and will bring more military enthusiasts and vets here. It will also contribute to the education of ppl, as we will all talk about our model subject in scale, not to mention all the scale modeling techniques as applied to military modeling.
It was here for a while, and then it disappeared. So what do you say? ![]() |

Lull! SHhhhhh! It was supposed to be a SURPRISE. Now I'll probably have to delete this thread, and if you post about it again, I may have to delete you, too!

There are a couple of things you need to do to help that...
Apply a gloss-coat covering to the surface so it's smooth for decal application. Wash the surface of any dust or fingerprints. Remove the decals from the water after the backing is wet. Let it sit on a paper towel for several minutes until the decal slides freely. Apply a decal setting agent (usually a vinegar solution) to the model. Use a soft brush to adjust the decal. Blot the decal with a clean cotton cloth. Apply a decal solvent to the decal after it's set to melt the decal onto the model. Contact me if you have any questions. |

Since this kinda applies to the models I thaught maybe I would post some pictures of my toy soldier battles, and no they arent the Toys R Us kind, they are a bit higher class then that lol.
I have some nice Alamo, Zulu War and WW2 figures, tanks, etc I could set up and take pictures. Anyone else here collect/buy toy soldiers? |
