JF-17 Thundaar Vs SS Botany Bay..

Come to think of it, (Thanks to hongkongdong), only match for JF-17 thundaar is SS Botany Bay.

With these impeccable specs, it will give a run for life to SS Botany Bay.

From the specialist HKD,

Quote:
Cant find all the specs for the JF-17 either. But JF-17 is considered to be 70% as manoeverable as the F-16 (not sure which block, but probably original designs of each),
Quote:
however, it has a high climb rate which allows it to intercept fourth generation fighters.
Quote:
I have read its airframe is third generation but again, its airframe is supposedly based on the product 33 design of the eighties from the same era as the modern day Mig-29 which should make it fourth generation at least.
Quote:
It's certainly a fourth generation fighter, a bit lacking on top speed, but for interception it's not required. F-16s have a better payload than the JF-17 though.
And here comes the best of the best,

Quote:
The climb rate and turn rate of the JF-17 is enhanced by the position of the wings way behind the canopy.
Quote:
Avionics of the JF-17 are supposedly pretty good actually.
Fire-control radar Italian FIAR Grifo S-7
Navigation system GPS system
Other Head up display (HUD), infra-red search-and-track system, night-vision goggle capability and a digital dual Fly by wire (FBW).

SS Botany Bay:

JF-17 Thundaar (4th Gen):

The only thing that seems to power the future PAF JF-17 is sheer will power. (no engine confirmation)

No actually it'll be quite a match for the LCA, since the LCA will never get off research.

It's not so hard to go head on with a plane that doesn't get to fly in wars.

All of his comments are valid and backed. He's not made the JF-17 look like the next best thing in Aviation, all those capabilities have been shown in its test flight in 2003. The 70% manouverability statement has been given by the higher ups involved in the project. It's airframe is of the Mig-33D. I've shown that to you before.

In 2 years the plane is coming. When's the LCA coming? When's the Arjun coming?

Thundaar...? Ok.

Another proverbial quote, thanks Oracle.

Yeah, you can validate it all you want. but the 70% is almost funny to begin with.

Yeah, you had dog fights, smoked out enemy fighters by BVR missiles, etc etc. Not to mention that JF-17 got some pretty good avionics. I wonder what's "pretty good" in it !!

Higher ups?? So what?? Its under your perogative to use it. Yeah, right and the Colonel also proved his thots on it.

May be you ought to read some news again. If you want to see Arjun from Pakistan for real, invade India While we are at it, how are the avionics and engine coming off in JF-17??

Guys, hongkongfuey is right. The JF-17 is the greatest plane on the planet becasue it is being piloted by the best trained, bravest and strongest pilots in the world...PAKISTANI PILOTS! They have better training than the Hindu, Jewish and Christian pilots...so they can take on anything. A Pakistani pilot in a JF-17 will detect missiles with his superior intelect instead of his radar and he will dodge all of them. He will even fly right behind any Indian, Israeli or American aircraft and destroy it with his machine gun!
