    F-22 Gets F-35 Stealth Treatments

I hadn't heard talk of this before but it looks like the F-22s will be getting some of the stealth treatments from the F-35. Article references reduced maintenance costs and possibly improved stealth. It's good to see some of the F-35's features rolled back into the Raptor.

That's fantastic. Now that its remaining cost and maintenance problems are being fixed, we can be doubly sure that we've cancelled production of the world's finest fighter.

While they might not improve the RCX in theory, I wouldn't be surprised if they do operationally - since the F22 coating were hard to maintain - they might not always have been intact, if these coatings can survive normal operations better, they should improve F22 RCX operationally.
