    Too noisy for military/stealth applications, however if you could mount a camera on them, they eliminate the need for spotters ! If evasive programming was configured, it would make it bloody hard to hit one of these. Not to mention they look relatively cheap to make

    Well, the concept of MAV(Micro Air Vehicles) clearly puts priority of portability above noise.

    I think the ability to carry one of these for a quick tactical recon would be quite useful. I do wonder if you can program them to lob a few grenades at the enemies :D

    They have been used by various government agencies (and private enterprise) for a few years now.
