The T-38/F-5 they have as a chase plane is a sweet ride all by itself, and alot cheaper to operate.... I want either or both, + the money to fuel and fly them all I like.
Well it was actually almost 2 months ago, but I didn't see any threads about it.
I'd been following the progress of these MiG's for awhile as I found it fascinating that a civilian (though not your average joe) would finally be able to get at least one of them off the ground.

I'll take two, and the money and time to be able to afford to support them
Very cool - I wonder how much a ride would cost

"If I were Bill Gates"... How many daydreams started with that sentence?
I'd buy an airdrome in the Western U.S., house some veteran mechanics there permanently with their families, all suitably compensated, and have a fleet of warbirds. I'd tell them "I'll call before I arrive, but basically have them ready to go at all times. Here's your budget for spares and maintenance."
Very cool. The early MiG's have been around for decades for private purchase, and they are not all that expensive, much cheaper than a typical business jet. U.S. jets are almost impossible to obtain due to laws.
