Thread: Brazil receives the first EC-725

Brazil has started to receive the first consortium Helibras Helicopter / Eurocopter-EADS. In the ceremony held on the last day 16/12 were given three EC-725 from a total of 50 to be distributed among the three forces, FAB (Brazilian Air Force), Navy and Army. Each force will receive 16 helicopters and two more will be allocated to presidential transport.
The event was attended by the President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
The helicopters will initially be assembled in France and from 2012 will be fully assembled in the factory in Brazil Helibras Itajubá in Minas Gerais.
