'Continuing with plans to modernize its fleet, the Air Force announced that Paraguay intends to acquire a lot of jets attack and advanced trainer Yak-130, from Russia.

The statement was made by the Air Force commander of Paraguay, General Christ Jacobs, who did not provide more data on the possible purchase, as the number of copies to be acquired, the functions that the jet would take the Air Force and when the first aircraft would be delivered.'

These new aircraft were in service much longer than planned. And it is capable of performing training missions, air defense, transportation and playing presidential flight.
